These projects encompassed twelve separate historic buildings located in the South End neighborhood of Boston. The equity for these projects was raised through the syndication of historic tax credits. The debt was secured though conventional lenders. The majority of these properties were retained as rental apartment buildings, a few were conversions to condominiums.
Some of the projects were subject to review and approval by the Boston Redevelopment Authority, and South End Historical Commissions, and replicated historic elements with great detail. All of these projects involved complete gutting of the interiors, mechanical systems, rooks, and windows. We acted as general contractors on several of these projects.
