Project Description

Carding Mill is a high end, limited density cluster plan land development surrounding the Carding Mill Pond. The 170 acres had once been owned by Henry Ford, founder of Ford Motors. Mr. Ford had originally used the property to educate local farm workers.

The residential land development designed the home sites within 60 acres of the total 170 acres, thereby preserving the remaining 110 acres, including the Carding Mill Pond as conservation land overseen by the local conservation commission.

Following the land development we managed the design and construction of four high end custom homes, including Federal, Colonial and Cape styles.
