Project Description

The Boston projects encompassed separate historic buildings located in the Back Bay, Beacon Hill and South End neighborhoods of the city. The majority of these properties were retained as rental apartment buildings, a few were conversions to condominiums.

Some of the projects were subject to review and approval by the Boston Redevelopment Authority, Back Bay and South End Historical Commissions, and replicated historic elements with great detail. All of these projects involved complete gutting of the interiors, mechanical systems, roofs, and windows, and historic restoration of the buildings’ exteriors.

We started a construction company and performed as general contractors on several of these projects.

Project Summary: 118 Combined Residential Rental Units in multiple Buildings

Total Project Cost: $26,000,000

Financing: General Partnerships with private equity and Historic Tax Credits matched by Goldweitz & Co. debt.
